Hello, everyone! Fall is a great time to plant perennials! The soil is still warm, which allows plants to establish their root system. The cooler weather and less intense sunlight will also lessen plant stress. There’s also less pest pressure, and more likely to rain, so we won’t have to water as often. By the time spring arrives, your plants will be flourishing!
The eye-catching Golden Oakland Holly and Red Diamond Loropetalum will be grown as screening plants or privacy hedges. I’m excited to add new edible crops to our vegetable and fruit gardens. Chef’s Choice Rosemary is an absolute beauty, and its complex scent and flavor will complement many culinary dishes. Hello Darlin’, and I Declare blueberries are stunning, and their compact size is excellent for containers and small spaces.
I’m looking forward to a new blackberry variety. Osage is known to bear delicious fruits with long storage potential, but it’s also thornless!
