Container Gardening

Pushing my small container garden’s limits. #smallspacegardening #containergardening #gardening

Last year, the rats ate all of my summer squash so this is the first time I’ve ever been able to grow them successfully (and eat them myself). I started the squash seeds waaaay later in the season and in containers. During the fall, my little patch of concrete gets even fewer hours of light but they don’t seem to mind. 🙂

👋🏼 Just a girl, trying to grow as much food as I can with what I have right now.

About me
📍Located in the foggy city of San Francisco, California Zone 10
🌱 Gardening atop my apartment complex’s patch of concrete that’s sandwiched in between two tall buildings
☀️ 4 hours of direct sunlight in the “sunniest” part of my garden but mostly shady and windy
🪣 Growing exclusively in 2-10 gallon grow bags and buckets
💚 Everything is grown from seed using organic practices
