  1. Sutherland kale ,we live on it all winter, made into crisp like with sea salt or fried with leaf lard ,garlic, onions etc in an omelette…feed of kings 😎👍🏻 everything looks great ,its getting used to the abundance thats challenging…#winning

  2. Good catch up on the garden still lots of food left, looking at the corn it reminds me that this year half of my was eaten by mouse 🐁 some one told me for next year to put socks or crisp packs on them definitely will try that next year 😊

  3. I would definitely be taking Rodney everywhere I go so he could sniff out the rats! I really enjoy your monthly tours and harvest videos. Thanks for sharing.

  4. just an idea for next year, i used bachelors seeping peas ,you know the ones for making mushy peas and the crop i got was fantastic i had to spread them out over the year to harvest at different times .One box will last two or three years depending on how much you want to grow ,no prep just drop them into a hole and watch them grow.

  5. Lovely little walk around and good to see those amazing cauliflowers (thinking cauliflower cheese) for Sunday lunch. Garlic is in here as wanted to get it in before the storm came over the weekend. x

  6. Cauliflowers! They look amazing. We’ve never been able to grow them successfully, they’ve always blown and gone yellow before they’re ready to harvest. Loved the whirlwind tour 😊

  7. The carpet of camomile could be the cultivar used for camomile lawns. Try walking on it, Tracey; see if it releases a scent. 😊

  8. I saw a video recently that had artichokes loosely wrapped in bundles. Like stooks of wheat or corn 🌽. Looked like soft cord wrapped around to help stop them drooping/spreading out over pathways. Might be worth trying this method to keep yours more manageable. Looked very smart.

  9. Lemon verbena doesn’t like cold so if temps drop below 5C it says to cut down to a few inches as they will lose all their leaves anyway and put in the greenhouse or inside. So odd seeing empty beds but you have had a great year. 13:39 trail cam to see what’s eating the potatoes 🥔 and peas 🫛. Yiu definitely can see lots of future meals still to come. I cut off the tops of my brussels sprouts and eat like a cabbage. Perhaps you had sunglasses 😎 on 🤣🤣 last time you wandered about. Good luck with the garlic 👍, have a fab day, Ali ☔️🇨🇦

  10. Hi, loving the channel, hope you don"t mind me asking but what breed of dog is Rodney? as i am after a pup and think your one is just the right size for my home, many thanks.

  11. Hey there Tracy! Been having a binge watch to catch up on the last few videos and you’ve both outdone yourselves. Great content as always. You’ve had a fabulous summer in the veg plot – so productive. All that hard work over winter certainly paid off. 👍
Steven’s butchery vids were epic and so informative. I might add the filming of those was excellent too – different angles and close ups to show the viewer exactly what he was doing. 👌
80% moved in to our new home, soon we can resume our normal viewing habits and tune in more regularly to our favourite smallholders in the North. 😉 xx

  12. I'm happy and annoyed at the same time! Happy I found this channel and annoyed YouTube hasn't notified me of local channels! Subbed and can't wait to binge watch a local channel! 😁

  13. You have a wonderful garden full of life😊. Your video was so fine and I am amazed so many vegetables you grow. All the best to you.
