You are a delight ๐ง๐ป๐ท
Lovely vlog. I just cut the grass and cut the edges around my front lawn "that the neighbours see" to ๐..then it looks like I am doing more than I am and keeping things tidy๐.
Hi ๐ I bought a few daffodils last year and put them in m south facing garden and they all came up blind ๐ฎvery annoying ๐ข,Iโm hoping itโs just a clich and they will be ok next spring. Your garden is looking very pretty and I love seeing your two little cats.
The tree, foliage and plants are all looking beautiful, but I especially liked the black, fluffy plant. Cats are so adorable and funny.
I have not planted a lot of bulbs this Autumn, but I did manage to get some Black Parrot and Prim Fortyn tulips planted in one of my large terra cota pots. In another pot I planted a pink mix that had double tulips, hyacinth, and daffodils. I did a lot of daisy dividing and seed scattering. Fingers crossed those seeds become flowers come spring! That edger you have is called a half-moon edger. I have one made by Radius. They are great for creating new beds, especially if you're doing a curvy outline.
Hello lovely Catherine. I have bought bulbs and had two big planters made. I've planted them up with double tulips that look like peonies and a pick and mix of colours that will go nicely. I know what you mean about the dark nights. Working where I do, we are planting up for spring and preparing perennials for their winter sleep. A wonderful episode my love x
Today I have done a tidy up in my tiny garden area and planted some daffs and tulips in there and some pots too so loved watching you doing the same ๐โค
This year has been rough for me to…not any one thing but like death by a thousand cuts kind of year. The garden suffered. I absolutely love fall garden jobs because they truly do feel like a fresh start is around the corner. I have ideas for next year. Bulbs and perennial flowering shrubs are on the way and I can't wait to get them in the ground so that Spring can be kind of exciting. Lol.
Cat in a compost bin. Lol. โค – Frances
Lovely relaxing video to watch whilst Iโm on the sofa feeling full of cold. I love all your videos. Random question, what tea do you drink? Your tea always looks spot on lol
Your cottage and little grounds are beautiful. And somehow, you keep finding things and space to make it more beautiful.
I wanted Fritillaria for our garden. It has the most lovely blooms. However, from all of my research they smell absolutely terrible. It's described as being skunk-like. Did you already know that
Save the grass scraps and place them somewhere you want the grass to grow better. Just like you would sod.
Lovely color hydrangea
The edging looks great, what a difference! Iโve brought some crocus this year and planted them in the lawn also our council are giving away trees for residents, Iโve ordered a Hazel. A lovely peaceful video ty Catherine x
Hello what model is this lawnmower โค
Your soo stinkin cute ๐ฅฐ
I can't wait to plan out where my bulbs are going to be on our new property!!! Will definitely be sharing!!!
Your channel is such a calming place to be โค

Your garden is so lovely! Limbing up trees is a fall favorite of mine. Also, I didnโt know Ryobi carried a cordless lopper! Definitely need to add that to my garden tools. I have Ryobiโs small pole saw in the same line that allows me to get to bigger & higher branches safely. You might find it helpful in your own garden. But I agree that Anything it canโt reach is a job for the professionals. Loved seeing your bulb order. Here in GA zone 8a in USA, we have very short spring and most bulbs must be treated like annuals. I did get a bag of each: tulips, daffodils & crocus bulbs to pot up in planters for the patio. Happy planting! – Julie ๐ท๐ท๐ท
U should try cooking or bakingโฆ try bagels they r so easyโฆ.. greetings from McAllen Texas
Nice one Catherine. Everything is still looking so vibrant in your gardens. Yes, we are very lucky with our growing seasons. I recently took a strawberry plant, in a pot, out of my greenhouse into the yard and it has restarted growing strawberries…. in October. ๐

You are just a breath of fresh air love watching your videos so inspiring thank you
Catherine, I need bulbsโฆIโll go to the store today, you have motivated me. The long, narrow garden bed my 3 granddaughters made for me has lots of empty space! You have motivated me. – Marcia from MN
How satisfying to see your edges so crisp x
I've spent 2 days planting bulbs in the past week after our first frost arrived. I ordered Tulips – Double Late Finolas, Darwin Hybrid Pink & Berry Blush (purples); Mix of Daffodils & Muscari. I bought in bulk so I still have lots to plant in the ground and in containers! I hear you about anticipating feeling blue in cold winter days ahead! I started canning for the first time, made salsa verde and tomato sauce from the last harvest of tomatoes. You've handled your difficult year with grace and positivity. Simply sharing your experiences has been comforting to so many and therapeutic for yourself I'm sure. You're adorable and an inspiration! ๐๐ฉ๐ปโ๐พ
Gorgeous!!!!! I cant wait to see what the bulbs turn into this spring! Love seeing your garden tidy up videos. It puts a little fuel in me to get outside and freshen up my little space.
Lovely video. The grass edging is amazing. What a difference. You have inspired me to do ours. We bought bulbs today and planted 2 lasagne pots. Tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and muscari for the top.
