  1. Good morning dear kaye, oh wonderful to see you. Im watching and listening whilst I trying to sort my kitchen and pantry.very tiny little kitchen and tiny little pantry, so everything is on top of everything kaye. Xxwhat a tadoo.xxxxx😅

  2. I just did something with my onions that sprouted. I have never done this but, I chopped up all the green tops and froze them and peeled the soft mushy part off and chopped and froze the good part left of the onion. I have never had so many onions going bad so fast. Must be this weird weather.
I got a lot put in my freezer. I think I will separate some that are still starting to sprout and see if I can make some new onions. Thanks for this new idea Kay! 😊💖

  3. I’ll need to check Epic Gardening to see this process & reason.

If you plant the onion bulb, it’s the second year of growth you’ll get seeds from it.
When you cut a regular onion plant the root shallow in the garden bed or bucket and you’ll onion greens in no time, even seeds.😊

  4. Yes your onions will do great planting in fall. In Alaska I plant my onions in fall, cover with some wood chips Peet moss something like that.

  5. I Iove Botanical Interests. I just purchased parthenocarpic cucumber seeds which do not need pollenators and can be grown inside. There is a story idea for you!❤️ Also, have you grown potatoes from seed? You can start these inside over the winter months. I got these from Botanical Interests as well.

  6. Love onions in everything except desserts. Roasted veggies especially but sweated chopped onions smell so delicious. Great to find out how many plants can be in 1 onion. This is valuable information since we never know what is ahead

  7. I follow Epic Gardening and Jacques in the Garden. Love them! Thanks for this video…I have at least one onion that's sprouting, so I'm going to do this.

  8. Ye I just love the onion idea, xxdefinately share with my neighbour up the lanexxxthznkyou, xgod bless youxxx

  9. Watching you carefully removing that outer shell from the roots so you didn’t break them reminded me of something that happened to me the other night. I’m much the night owl, checking doors late at night in the condo bldg I live in with 26 others. Walking around observing things. As I was taking down my trash and recycling I could hear a cricket chirping so I went looking for the little guy. I found him under the couch in the lobby, all by himself, so I returned to my unit, grabbed a clear glass along with a piece of mail, went back downstairs, put the glass over him and slid the letter under his feet and picked him up that way.. it’s always tricky with these guys, have to be real careful to not knock a leg off or his antennas, etc.. and.. I did.. I broke a little off of one of his legs.. I felt awful. Well, at least he got put back outside where he belonged and not under our lobby couch. Great job on those onions Kaye! ☮& 💟

  10. Hey Kaye I think you are awsome..I do not edit as tech challenged and limited very limited and my channel only has 55 subscribers..I try to do alot of shorts as I know folks do not have alot of time and its hard to know what to share..I would love to be monitized but for some reason either I am that bad or the Lord does not want me to do this..Patricia

  11. Wow – had no idea you could restart onions like that! I have a small wire basket I put my onions in and often I have sprouts coming out of several of them. Usually I just try to use them up but next time I will use your method of separating the roots and planting outdoors. Thanks for the demo and sending prayers to mom..
