Gary Pilarchik: When to Remove Pea Plants, My Stevia Plants, Use Warm Weather Transplants & Airflow – MFG 2014

Peas and cold weather crops can generally be removed when you are into the third week of regular high 80 and low 90 degree temperatures. This is when greens most likely have already bolted and turned bitter and the peas might still flower but won’t produce much. A great way to transition to your warm weather crops is to put warm weather transplants into your beds a few weeks before the cold crops come out. Save time and get a jump. This is how I do it.
