Think about this: can an amazing chef prepare a great meal using rotten ingredients? Of course not! Cooking skills and techniques are pointless without good quality ingredients. The same is true for air plants (all plants, really!) – any watering technique will kill them if they are not getting good quality light (bright, indirect; some sun is okay).
