Thoughts from a plant parent: I say that this window faces North but Toronto is not perfectly aligned with the cardinal directions (our streets are tilted a bit west of true North). As such, in the summer, the sun peeks into this window for an hour or two, using the soil moisture a little faster. I’ve compensated by watering more frequently – the plants are happy.
