Pictured: No roses can be seen anywhere in this lush, seasonally perfect Valentine’s Day bouquet. The greenery comes straight from the garden — Pieris japonica about to bloom. Forced indoors, the paperwhite narcissus adds a sweetly-scented fragrance and soft white texture. California-grown, the vivid pink tulips and anemones play beautifully off the single stem of bicolored cream-pink Amaryllis, grown by Vivian Larsen of @everydayflowers_farmer in Stanwood, Washington. This bouquet looks and feels just right for the moment because it comes from the garden, fields and greenhouses of the season. Photo and design by Debra Prinzing.
