The Kratky method, invented by Bernard Kratky, is a passive hydroponic technique for growing plants suspended above a reservoir of nutrient-rich water. I have grown Bok Choy and Cauliflower using the Kratky method. Others have been successful in growing kale, tomatoes, cucumbers and more using the Kratky method, however I find the Kratky hydroponics growing method suitable for leafy greens like lettuce, bok choy, etc.
