  1. new subscriber!! this video is awesome….I think I could even do some of the stuff you showed by myself!! the transformation is wonderful 👍😇

  2. I suggest low voltage I used low voltage for such a long time 12 years ago I put it in and it's still going

  3. I would pass on the edging stone alltogether against concrete. There's already a perfect edge and stone is redundant.

  4. Excellent job….the pressure washer is a wonderful investment as well..and it's fun to do as well..and the new mulch was perfect..everything made it pop..
Try some color like flowers or colorful plants..some flowers like vinca and purslane are so easy..my thumb is brown, but I've had good results..just water and go…thank you

  5. Presure cleaning , is illegal in my country. You guys are not a bit aware about what you are doing, is a crime in many places.

  6. Good job. Just a tip with ‘old mulch’. If you’re using organic mulch (anything that was once part of a plant or animal), just top it up.
One of the advantages of organic much is it slowly breaks down and releases nutrients for your plants. Plus, lots of beneficial organisms are feeding off it, so removing it also removes those.
When applying fresh mulch, particularly wood chips, it helps to add a good source of nitrogen at the same time so as the new mulch doesn’t draw nitrogen from your plants, causing yellow leaves amongst other issues. Looks good for your $300 😉

  7. If no one has mentioned it, professionals now advise against the "fabric" as the soil beneath it sours and the weeds simply take root on top of it. Add new mulch on top of the old but keep it a couple of inches away from the trunks of your trees.

  8. 😆 I love your verbal terminology for explaining things : " a rubber mallet comes in handy to 'CONVINCE' them to go in the right place" 😆😆👏👏

  9. My front shrubs needed a little bit of a hair cut to give them some shape…they had that "quarantine hair going on" 😆😆. Many of us had that quarantine hair so…we can relate to those shrubs😆

  10. 😆 that monstrosity of a plant … Even has thorns….

Too funny! A gardening and landscaping video that makes me crack up 😆

  11. Wow!!!! It all turned out fantastic…looks great! I'm sure it was a lot of hard work ….but it paid off ..and yes….you saved lots $$$. 😄👏👏 Thanks for sharing!

  12. Tip one when you are making a curve in your yard make sure that your lawn mower can easily follow it without pulling it back and forward. Many people do not think of that and then end up with a mowing nightmare. If you set your stones just below the ground level so that your lawn mower can easily pass over them.

  13. be sure to keep the mulch/back from being planted up against tree trunks. this will greatly increase the chance of the tree developing trunk rot thus killing the tree. pull the mulch/bark away from the base of the tree. also, the weed fabric barrier restricts the soil life from coming to the surface to help decompose materials and feeding your plants. cheers

  14. Waste of good drinking water all for the sake of what “Looks good”, allmthat good compost going innthe bin to recycle, you pay to buy compost and pay to haul it away….hydranga grow huge…wrong place to put them and toooooo close to foundation

  15. That plant was beautiful and your garden, if you can even call it that, looks sterile and barren. Sad.

  16. Who cares about curve appeal make it look nice the bigger the tree to cover the front the better some people like there privacy …. I love landscaping but don't care if any body sees it curve appeal is if your selling it

  17. Great job. People are often too lazy to even mow their own grass much less do a little landscaping to improve the property.

  18. Wow, really nice. Inspiring me to spend a few hundred plus my own sweat-equity on my landscaping.

  19. Thousands of dollars? Nooo
I find it appealing you threw away good nutritious compost mulch that should have been recycled in to your garden
