I love this idea, but how do you keep the chipmunks, squirrels and deer from eating your plants? Fencing it in wouldn’t look that attractive for a front yard. Any suggestions?

Great video. I threw some lettuce seeds in my front bed this morning behind some ornamentals. Joe, what is "compost soil" as opposed to soil with compost? I don't think you've mentioned that before.

I wonder what to do with a container moss garden in a Michigan winter. Would it go dormant and be safe in a garage? Should it be left out and ok to freeze? It probably would die indoors…??
