    1st. How is the weather in the Dallas area? Ours down I-35 in Austin is cold and getting colder. Because of last night's freezing rain and ice on the steps, we're staying inside today. Hope our plants and trees survive! Yours too!

    Here I go again-

    My daughter told me y'all finally got some rain!!
    Whooohoooo!!!
    At least all the plants and trees have their cells all filled up to survive the cold!
    Now if they can all make it without splitting under the weight of the ice, we'll be doing good!!

    Did you bring any pots inside?
    I've got quite a few…
    I guess my garden isn't REALLY survival of the fittest after all !

    I actually picked up a few cupcake holders (the ones you use to transport cupcakes) and used them to start seeds! They have a great removable humidity dome!

    Dollar Tree has great stuff!! I have turned many plastic items from there into flower pots and I have added their potting soil to my vermicomposting bin. The disposable aluminum trays are great for seed starting or growing micro greens/sprouts too.

    Thanks for the Dollar Tree visit. I’ll have to visit there soon while the supply is high. Misplacing my tools is my habit. I’ve even thrown away my tools with the garden trash too many times. Have a great day and stay warm in Texas!

    I heard a tip that radishes are good companions for squash to keep off squash bugs. Our family does not eat radishes so I just grabbed the Dollar&AQuarter Tree Store seeds to sow instead of expensive ones lol

    Enjoyed your Dollartree Visit. I didn't find any pruners or saucer with roller, it's been 2 years I have been looking. I think someone is buying them all in my area.

    The seeds at DT are a really great deal and I've had excellent luck with them for years. And even at $1.25 many of the pots/planters and other things are still a good deal compared to other sources. What I really like this year is the garden tools and handle they go on. If you live where there are 99 Cents Only stores, though, they have some of the same items, still at $1.00.

    Totally loved this. For anyone who is just thinking of trying growing some plants,all of the “dollar”type stores are a great place to start! Just get growing and see how you like it!👍👍👍

I a one block from Dollar Tree, and all the things you've shown me, I have been ordering from places like AMAZON.. spending hundreds of dollars for Prime delivery…Now its time for a shift and I'm walking to dollar Tree now!!! :DThank You MAD GARDENER LADY!!!

    Thanks for the dollar tree haul..I did not know they had the plant clips the gift basket/ was a great idea /nice gift for teachers or grandmas who garden..❤️❤️..As far as their bulbs go.. and seeds ..they are good.. but I even got daffodils and guess what color they were ? pink daffodils ..so pretty they come back every year..My glads are beautiful too..

    For me the best garden items are their seeds packets; also the boxed seeds (wild flower etc.). Unfortunately their flower bulbs are a complete fail this year. Thanks for the video.

    Daiso also has a wide selection of affordable gardening supplies! After watching this I'm gonna have to add Dollar Tree to my favorite gardening supply stops along with Daiso ❤️✨
