Urban Permaculture Garden Tour // Edible Gardening to build a more Sustainable Living Lifestyle

Welcome to my Urban Permaculture Garden for a full garden tour. Subscribe for regular garden updates 🙂 I have over 25 fruit trees and a whole heap of different edible plants. A combination of urban food forest-style gardens, raised garden beds, and container gardens to build a more sustainable living lifestyle. Join me as we go through my gardens for a garden shop and see what’s ready to harvest.

It’s been so hot and dry this summer so the gardens have been struggling. Looking forward to a fresh new season!

  1. Join me Sunday for a live premiere. Set reminder as it’s a big episode so plenty of time to answer any questions you have! Can’t wait to chat with you 🌿

  2. That basket is screaming either ratatouille or eggplant lasagne what are you going to make, oh did I tell you I bought a six tray biochef, love it

  3. Thanks Holly, great video and your garden is looking amazing as always!

Do you find the basil and mint change flavor at all when they go to flower? Or is that only for lettuce?

  4. literal lol when I went googling and learned that queensland arrowroot is just an unfamiliar name for what we call cannas here! lovely garden.

  5. Hi dear friend I always love a good garden tour thank you so much for sharing. I always like seeing what other gardeners do. I have a very little house with a very little garden so my garden is pretty tiny but I like seeing what all of you do get

  6. For sharing your beautiful garden with us and talking about all the wonderful plan to have in it thank you it was a wonderful garden tour loved it bye-bye for now see you in the next garden tour

  7. Did you plant the feijoas when you moved in? Fellow kiwi here. I planted 2 feijoas at my new house about 10 months ago, they have grown quite a bit since. They were about 50cm in height when I planted them, they are at least 1.2m now. Any idea when I might expect delicious feijoas? And tips to help them grow are appreciated. I’m a New sub also found your channel today

  8. I've ditched Netflix & have been binge watching your videos. I love Feijoa also, have two mature trees & have planted 3 more. The birds found them this year, so had to net it. Use stockings to suspend your watermelons etc, works a treat & they stretch as the fruit grows. Do you like figs? Could be a nice addition to your food forest if you don't already have one. I've just pruned mine back & taken some cuttings to propagate out. Love eating them fresh & in cooking. Keep up the great work, really enjoying the content & your presentation.

  9. Hi Holly I'm in Perth too – just moved from my half acre food forest to a unit with a tiny south facing back garden (and even tinier north facing front). I'm having fun transferring everything I've learned over the years to this space. I've just found your channel and loving your videos. Your video on edible ground covers inspired me so I went shopping yesterday and i'm replacing the existing syngonium understory with strawberries and violets! Next project will be going vertical against the fences and I've just discovered columnar apples!
