  1. In many areas, bamboo is considered an invasive plant because it grows so rapidly and gets out of control quickly. It should only be grown in confined beds/boxes to control its ability to spread.

  2. I really enjoyed the ideas and gardens shown but the person doing the voice over was one of the most annoying voices I have ever heard. She ruined the entire video.

  4. It sounds like someone is reading without respecting the material enough to even comprehend what they're reading. Sporadic inflections here and there as if trying to sound human when one isn't.

  5. I happen to have the idea that a japanese garden has to be small, and designed mainly with the scope to make its visitors to express their spiritual feelings.
I also thought that it should be stated in some lower from the ground site and should be decorated by sculptured stone lanterns and some other spirituality given items none of which was mentioned in your nice and skillful video which also surprised me of how big can someone design a Japanese garden using such a huge areas.

  6. The narration in this video is bizarre. It doesn’t sound like it was written by a fluent English speaker.

  7. Re: comments on flowers here, there is a difference between a Zen garden and a Japanese garden, including a tea house garden, where flowers are concerned. A Zen meditation garden pivots on stone – the rhythm among carefully placed boulders and the flow of the dry river in raked gravel, which aids meditation. Japanese who own homes with yards (an exception in Japan because of cost) do use certain flowers, chrysanthemums above all, also hosta and azaleas.. A Japanese garden is not necessarily a Zen garden. On a practical level, the climate in most of the U.S. does not support this style of garden because we don't have enough consistent rain for the mosses, except in certain northern areas, Seattle and Portland areas being the best. So we have developed a hybrid garden type using Japanese elements.

  8. Couldn’t stand to watch this because of the narrator’s voice. Maybe choose a peaceful, relaxing tone instead of “annoying neighbour.”

  9. Wow, I had to stop the video unfortunately. The annoying talking over a video like this is insane. She sounds like she's trying to sell a hoover on a late night shopping program that nobody in their right mind would ever really buy. Way to ruin such beauty and tranquility.
