    Hello
    I have a small area of grass in between my plant beds that has grass but a ton of tree roots. This area is considered my septic tank drain field. I am afraid I will bust my hiney on the tree roots one of these days. Do you have any suggestions of what to cover this area with? Mulched in might prove the easiest way to go. I have coquina rock lining my plant and shrub beds in the front yard.

    I’ve heard of taking the stone/brick from your house and using the same tile for retaining walls… but what if you have outdated old red brick?

It would be great to see what you have for an idea where the house is elevated above the road and you have to landscape… ideas related to build transition through retaining walls or terrace from the public road. How to build privacy, how to make it still inviting…for good curb appeal.

    I like your retaining wall idea, match the wall to the house with the same type of stone. However, some homes do not have a stone facing. I'm wondering if there is some type of wall surfacing material that could be added to the home. Or perhaps there is some other element of the home that could be repeated in the wall to produce that desirable unified effect without looking cheesy. Any ideas?
