  1. Great ideas Bobby. Love the boulder ideas. I have random ones in mine that I don't know where to put them. 🙃

Would you be able to help me some ideas for my garden? Got to that stage where I need to update it a little. I live in Ireland with a small city garden. Thanks in advance 😊

  2. I'm excited I found your videos. We have been in our home for a year now and just now have been able to get some grass started. We had a landscaper come but he left us without doing everything he promised. We have a huge slope which was mulched and he added a few flower beds. This is our first home and we have no idea what to plant. Can you offer some suggestions? Thanks in advance. 🙂

  3. What can I plant on a steep drop, in front of a ditch that runs the property, that would give privacy and look nice?

  4. My biggest challenge is I don't know where to start with designing the landscaping from our front yard. (currently an empty sloped hill and bed of grass at the top) Oh yes, we also have gophers…. yay

  5. Hey Bobby, I absolutely hate my front yard. Whoever designed it was not very good at their job. I want to make some plans, and begin planting for the long term, but my husband has expressed a desire to add a deck in the front. So, I just want to know your order of recommendations? Do I start with architecture, then deal with drainage and drip, and end with plants? Is that the correct order? I just hate to think I have to wait for all that before I should plant anything. 🙁

  6. You put the dogwood tree WAY too close to the driveway and garage door. As it grows, it will block that area.

  7. I like the color and the natural, native design. And the boulders with the little plants by them look awesome 😎. It’s fun seeing all these designs come together

  8. This front yard is very similar to mine. What would something like this cost to install professionally?

  9. I’m definitely all about that natural and native look. We live in Texas, and after our recent freeze, we removed every dead plant in our front yard. It’s so plain now, and I’m so new to landscaping. Help me!

  10. Hey my friend I do gardening some landscaping and one of my clients ask me to re landscape the front of an Apparments units theres 2 squares one on each side just flat with a walkway in the meddle, how should I get like a design or something to give me an idea? Please help

  11. My front yard and backyard have water sitting there during a rain storm, I need some idea of landscaping while clear those water area sloping out?

  12. I'm moving back into my very first home, built 20 years ago. I'm divorced abs starting over with this house after renting it for years. My yard looks awful. Can you help me make it look beautiful with low maintenance, drought resistant, less grass, symetrical, ground sight. I'm afraid of snakes and critters. I only want to attract butterflies and birds. Would love to work with more stones or pavers. I'm in Tampa, Florida. We have limited watering. I'll do a patch of grass but only a shall patch. I want to xeriscape and "fagetaboutit" but still look great! Help!

  13. Hi Bobby, I found your website this morning. I've been trying to plan a landscape around my currently being remodeled house with new roof new siding etcetera. It should be done in the next month or so. I know massive amounts about sewing and lots about reconstruction and framing also. I know absolutely NOTHING about Landscaping!!!!!!! I have talked to several people but nobody seems to know how to help me get to where I want to be. We are on a little Lake. I would like a walkway along the canal, some kind of natural plants around the inlet coming up onto the land. Addition to our deck, fire pit, an arbor or pergola on the front of the drive side of the house with some trees _ maybe not trees we have a septic field in the front _ but something between the garage and the house and some nice flowers plants and trees ???? down the driveway. Is this something you could possibly help out with?? Let me know. Your video was terrific on the side slope design. Loved it. Will be watching more of your videos for sure!

  14. Hello, I just found your videos..I have major difficulties figuring out what trees/shrubs will do best on which corner of my house. Have a huge property , house on a hill. My NW corner gets hot afternoon sun but also frigid strong N wind in winter. I need a feature tree near corner of house but all power lines in ground at this corner..I'm in zone 5b midwest clay soil. Trees have a hard life here..lol . Any ideas ? I also hope to create a curved bed & your videos encouraged me to bring it out much farther than U thought. Thanks

  15. Hi Bobby I like your idea so much con you please tell me witch program can I use todraw my design ..thanks

  16. Thanks for all of the tips. What about kid friendly areas. how do you incorporate swing sets or sand boxes and kid stuff storage. Thanks

  17. Loving your designs. Thinking outside the box. Making it look eye catching without being ostentatious.

  18. Hi, how to combine boulders with stones? What can I do in front yard with a slope besides plants?

  19. This is Beautiful! My daughter and her boyfriend are buying a house next week that this would work perfectly for. Thank you so much for the ideas! Now for the backyard, I have no idea at this point.

  20. I'm not sure how to choose shrubs (trees? perennial bushes?) for my front yard. I don't like flowers and I don't want anything that requires a lot of maintenance. Can you recommend anything? Or can you recommend how I should start to think about this or educate myself? I'd appreciate it.

  21. Bobby, we are getting ready to landscape our front yard. I want the boulders like you had them, but my hubby says it will take a lot of upkeep. We live out in the country in central Missouri. Any opinions/suggestions?

  22. Hi Bobby where are you located I really need help with east facing corner lot can you help ohio gardener

  23. So happy I found this channel! I am looking for ideas for plants I can use in a primarily shaded are of the front of my home.

  24. Thank you for highlighting the landscaping. This home looks cozy and welcoming and beautiful. We lived in West County for 30 years and I could not convince my neighbors to continue the flower bed beyond the end of the house or extend it by the driveway. The house and walkway were “it” for them. I always wanted my house nestled in the landscaping but then, I married a fellow from California, so I seemed a little strange to them anyway. Hahaha. You do fabulous work.

  25. This is just like what I have would love some ideas on mine. We love to do the work our selves. But have 1 1/2 acres and feeling overwhelmed. Just trying to get a 1 to 5 year plan. Any help would be awesome

  26. I have slope all over my front yard. The steps go up a slope with a large retaining wall and bed on one side and tiered retaining walls between the steps and the garage on the other side. The beds are a planting nightmare, and the retaining walls don’t hold in the soil when I water. I have attempted to update the landscaping but I struggle with these walls, the hot northeast exposure in the morning, and radiant heat from the brick walls of my home. Finding plants that will survive with minimal water (because it won’t stay the bed) and intense heat exposure is almost impossible.

  27. Help! I recently took out a 15 year old retainer wall with all the flowers and plants. Now that I have a blank canvas, I have no idea how to put a new plan together with plants, trees etc.
