  1. Hi Bobby, I've really enjoyed what ive see of your videos so far. Im currently teaching myself landscape design with the "help" of the landscaping company I work for. They've given me some tools (landscape pro tablet program, which is lacking so I invested in the realtime computer program myself) but not much feed back or direction, which I need to be able to grow and make better designs. At this point, im looking for some kind of "mentor" if thats something you would have the time for. I just started learning this year so my designs are simple but I have a FB page if you would like to see what ive been working with. Kings Landscape Design. I appriciate your time, keep making the world a beautiful place!

  2. Hi again, Bobby!
I think I have more of an eclectic style preference only because I like both clean lines & angles (as in a more contemporary/modern style) as well as soft curves, like in your "classic" landscape example. My fav of the 3 you've done here would have to be The Classic design. I think it's more about the curves and the symmetry that's drawing my attention. The boxwoods are beautiful but maybe a bit too formal for my taste and I'd like to see some boulders placed in the landscape as well with some great lighting!

  3. Thanks for the tip on not placing a tree at the end of the house. This has me thinking about other ideas 💡 thank you!

  4. Hi Bobby, I really liked both the Japanese and Color designs. I think that it was because the low wall added a lot of interest. Thank you for all of your fantastic tips!

  5. i THOUGHT THE HOUSE WAS VERY PLAIN AND MAYBE NEEDED A BOLDER FOCUS BETWEEN WINDOWS LIKE THREE ARBIVITIE EVERGREEN TREES JUST A THOUGHT

  6. I absolutel love colour! You really have some great ideas. At this point in my life I have to be careful not to undertake too much at once. I would love to change my front planter that is surrounded by wood ties, and make it a nice curved shape. The only problem I have is that the front sidewalk blocks run straight in front. My yard is very well maintained with beautiful lawn and mature plants, but is lacking colour. 😰💥 After watching your videos where you stress colour☝️🌷 and variation in plant heights I realize that I can at least put in some colourful flowers. ⚘🌺🌻 Look what you started! Lol. Thank you, Barb. 😉😊💪👍

  7. How much do you charge for designing my front and back yard
    Landscaping

  8. I'm a new subscriber and I'm binge-watching your channel. One thing I don't see much is front-yard landscaping videos on a house like mine. I have a corner house (dormered ranch) where my front door is on the right side of the house instead of in the middle. There's about 8 feet from the right side end of my house to my neighbor's property line, and then *his driveway. My driveway is behind the house on the cross street. I would love to see a video that addresses how to best landscape that configuration. Thanks!

  9. Biggest challenges for landscaping is sourcing plant materials. I see the same crap I dug out of my yard available everywhere!!!

  10. Hello nice video ,
If I send you my house picture will you able to give me 3 options for landscaping ?

  11. love the 3rd design, totally agree, the tree does not have to go to the end of a home it can be a centerpiece. Thank you for the information about not saturating with too many colors and sticking with one color.

  12. Show us what a native landscape from St Louis would look like and promote them once in a while 😀 everything's endangered. Bees, butterflies, birds, toads, lizards, heck even foxes n owls. A native landscape can bring much needed refuge for these little guys while giving us joy and relaxation it provides for us

  13. I’ve heard mulch around tree roots isn’t good.. your thoughts on this? Love the vids .. could you instead surround a tree base with pea gravel while it’s inside a contained bed on mulch?
