Just found your channel, new subscriber. I grew up in Corpus but live in VA now. I miss living in Zone 9 😢
I’m trying to Grow some Japanese maples down south.Good luck use some preen throughout the beds will keep out all the weeds.
Why do you talk like that. Just stop. It sounds ridiculous.
How long was your cardboard down before you planted anything? Cause aren’t you hitting the cardboard?
I was using paper but i still get grass coming up. I will definitely try cardboard! 🙂
Great video! Music, fun facts and ideas for a budget garden 100% on point. I look forward to watching more.
Oh my goodness! Finally someone not only in my zone but local! I am in Seabrook and new to planting in landscaping. Only 3 minutes into this video but I am excited! My front faces East so it gets great morning sun but no afternoon. So I will have to do opposite to you lol
Your video is soooooo clear! Amazing!
Amazing video brother. Thank you
“Sheeeeet Mulchiing!” All the way 😂🦋🌸🌿👍
Shade garden looks amazing? Hope to see an update video on how everything has evolved.
Hello one question I live in Lancaster California and I wanted to know what plants I need to use can you help thanks 😊
Yep, Houston Texas is 🥵
It would be great if you would list all your plants in the description box. Thanks
Jesus loves you and died for our sins amen beautiful day
8 months later would love to see how it's grown in.
Passing through… Just to let you know, you should shop at your local nursery and save a lot of money rather than buying from a big box store. I learned that the hard way. No sense in spending that kind of money on plants. Trust me and try it.
🤘 H Town 💚
Love & appreciate your sense of humor! Awesome
You left out one thing honey, How long does it take for the cardboard to break down? Six months, a year or what? I would love to do this but I don't have a lot of patience lol. Yours looks great though…
Nice thank you so much
It would be great if someone inboxed me now
You can't be serious with those earrings and that color shorts and cap.
Free 99 🤣🤣🤣. Off to Craigslist I go.
Im new! Do you keep the cardboard down? When you plant the plants doesn't the cardboard get in the way?
this dude is hilarious. very different from all the other gardening/landscaping channels i follow lmao. SUBSCRIBED! 🙂
First time viewer, glad to find a fellow young-adult-dude-Texan-gardener! I enjoy the comedy gardening vibes 🤙🏼

That is beautiful! I just found your channel; can you give us an update?
Should’ve power washed the bricks before install. Brand new free.99
im a new front yard owner & am trying to learn— so this may be a stupid question but do you just cut out the cardboard you laid down when u plant? and are those weed sheets an alternative to the cardboard?
glad i came across your channel 🙂
Love budget-friendly plans! I'm from Family HandyMan. We would like to work with one of your videos. Please reply for more information.
Did you let the cardboard and mulch decompose, then plant directly into that mulch?
Bruuuuuuh whats with the “sh” pronunciation for S’
Awesome work though, what about painting the bricks for more pop?
Even without you saying it, I can hear that you're local to Houston. 😊
I love my turk's cap plants! They're red, self sufficient, & reliable.
Sometimes a town will contract with a landscaping or other company to remove and instantly mulch trees. Asplundh was one company. I called them and got a huge pile of free mulch from them.
If you like dark purple foliage and hot pink flowers, lorapetalum might be for you! They're a small shrub like plant. Bloom is 2-3 times per year for me.
I've got that liriope too. So good!
orange county! /whats up/ get witth me i talk plants

I subscribed in the first 10 seconds. That movie is my favorite.
