2022 Garden Plans | No Dig Formal Garden | The Garden Glows

2022 garden plans are underway and there are BIG changes coming to the backyard vegetable garden! I am excited to share what I have been working on through the month of December and I am ready to start 2022 off with a bang in the garden! Goals for January include putting down all of the cardboard for the no dig method and lining the new vegetable/cut flower garden beds with rock. I would love to hear your feedback on the garden plans in the comments below!

  1. Love the idea of a landscape bed where your raised beds are now. I can see maybe a weeping Japanese maple, some Distylium along with hosta, heuchera and shade grasses. Will be so stunning!

  2. Yew would be awesome along the side. And a few boxwoods interspersed in there as well! (I’m pausing and commenting as I watch!)

  3. Beautiful fence, and project plans! I also like the color of the brick on the house, as it will serve as a great backdrop for flowers, etc. Your section next to the house that gets part shade/part sun might do well for the herbs that require some shade.
