Japanese maples are a staple for many Japanese gardens. It can take many years of pruning to bring out a beautifully curved thick trunk. But this provides aesthetic beauty throughout every season of the year.

Very nice video and I can only imagine how magnificent it is to see all this in person!
The changing colours through the seasons are amazing. Because I have seasonal depression, autumn brought on melancholy. But after seeing these beautiful maples, it's reminded me of the hope that the new buds of spring bring.
