  1. This video is in my saved for home projects! After moving off the farm I miss having a garden. Funny I live in town and have more deer problems here!?! Ha ha but this would work great and easier to fence off from Bambi! Great video!

  2. Hey Dash! ……this is on the to do list for sure pretty simple to do thanks for sharing my brother. I'll have a happy wife and I'll have a happy life LOL. You and the family have a wonderful weekend and stay safe.

  3. Happy to see this video. One tip I would suggest in addition to pre drilling holes would be to pre set the screws into all those holes. It makes assembly much quicker, you don't need to mess around with holding a board screw and drill. And less likely to drop and loose screws. Now my suggestion is make a second one and fill buckets with herbs. Many herbs like rosemary, oregano, mint, sage, etc. will over winter meaning once planted you will have fresh herbs to cook with for many years to come. Last thing, it was great seeing you're reaction last night when you first read my first comment about the 3 second rule. It's still cracking me up today. Have a great day. 😄

  4. Great project my friend I might have to build one of these for my deck I already have some tomatoes in buckets but I want to plant some more stuff this is a great idea.

  5. Looks good sir, good job. I planted some pepper a lil too early now they are no more. Purchased red and green peppers from the store,I put the seeds in a pot to try and grow more. I still have time to try sweet potatoes and I have to buy another tomato plant as well. If none of this work, then grocery store here I come…😂😂😂👍

  6. I live in condo with a tiny 10 x 20 foot backyard and it’s full with my 5 gallon grow buckets that I barely have enough room for my bbq grill. I think if I build 2 of those racks I can get them up and out of the way and give me a little more space to chill & grill. Thanks for making the video and take care.

  7. Amazing. I wish i had a saw like yours . Hopefully Home Depot folks are patient enough to cut these many sizes. Also i hope these wood pieces fit in my accord

  8. Great project! Do the buckets fit inside the frame? So if I made it a little taller the wood would “hide” the top of the buckets?

Thinking about trying it like that, a little taller, and the. Putting on some sort of wall/siding to “hide” the buckets inside the rack/stand.

  9. This is exactly whati want for our tiny rental backyard! Hubs wants to do the big 12 bucket…im happy with 8! (Cost of wood is wayyyy up!) Thanks for the visual! I could even do this !

  10. For once the YouTube algorithm suggests something both interesting and useful! Can't wait to make one of these for the spring.

  16. Thank you for the wonderful video, Easy as pie to make with your instructions. i have plenty of 2×4's laying around, and i need a place for all my pepper plants!

Question….. Did you drill any drainage holes in the buckets or make them into wicking tubs?
