    I watch James as well learnt a lot.
    That pot is called a fabric grow bag. It has great drainage and also help air prune the roots meaning instead of just growing in circles and bounding up. You should also watch Gary pilarchik The Rusted Garden he he teaches a lot and very information. He also teaches about growing I pots and grow bags. I would have put the tomato in the grow bag assuming it was a 5 gallon bag so it has more space to grow and produce more. That's the recommended minimum for them
