  1. @cyrilmann Those are Cedrus atlantica Glauca Pendula – Weeping Atlas Blue Cedars. We prune and thin out the trees so the trunk and major branches are always visible. Good luck in your Japanese garden.

  2. @OrientalLandscape What is the best rocks to use for hardscaping that is not costly but looks great in a japanese garden?

  3. @realmccoys420 Rocks, I'm assuming you're referring to the boulders? You want to select the most natural looking boulders. Select ones with interesting shapes and lines. Moss growing is an added bonus. Here in the East Coast we use West Virginia and Pennsylvania boulders. Try to stay away from white or other unnatural color boulders. As for the cost, it's reasonable and for DIY for your home you can always search free ones in the woods but it's take some muscles.

  4. The river bed is created using small crush stones. You can also use small washed gravel or other small decorative gravels. Good idea to lay a landscape fiber under the gravel to prevent weeds. The dark areas around the dry river bed is mulch.

  5. That is also a Cedrus Atlantica Glauca Pendula – Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar. We have a few in our video trained in many different ways. This one is a bit younger than the others.

  6. Works best in small spaces. Courtyards. Patio spaces. Surrounded by a huge turf lawn, doesn't translate so well. Some of these show what I mean. I noticed lots of interesting landscaping in rural Japan. No grass.

  7. Wow! Very nice work. I'm trying to fuse the Japanese aesthetic with native prairie plants for my garden (in IL). This video definitely gave me some inspiration.

  8. I love this video. Its really inspiring and enjoy watching the nature because it is relaxing somehow. I can't believe that there are people who are disliking this video and it's so amazing.

  9. I felt myself being relieved as I watched these beautiful features. Every effort deserves to be appreciated. I intensely admire these structural designs. Indeed, it is really a privilege to see a very stunning creation and beautifully crafted art. Nice video!

  10. This video is very delightful and extremely nice! This is something that you should be proud of. It was so inspiring that you used the Japanese Garden in doing this Oriental Landscape concept. No doubt, you are really intelligent! Keep up the good work!

  11. Scheme in which a tree around the building to place the wood types and trees, is derived from the ancient China. This is, looking at the Northern Song 10th view of China, it can be seen that completely the same.
