First off let me say, your work speaks for itself. The landscaping is beautiful and is perfectly executed. I was wondering if that gold mop chamaecyparis is known under other names such as a false cypress and/or a thread leaf cypress? I don't mean to sound dumb, I really want to get one like you have and I am not quite sure it will survive in zone 5 and I have never seen that under the chamaecyparis name before here in Missouri. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Your design looks great. I am looking to design my newly finished yard with evergreens, and I have a question for you. Everywhere I read online, it says to not plant trees within 10 feet of the house. How come you have so many trees so close to the house?
