  1. I didn’t think you popped the bottom off those pots. I thought they were to use if you have a plant that you water or feed from the bottom..🤷🏽‍♀️

  2. Yesss girl I'm a crazy plant lady and you can deff drill a hole in all pots!!! If you need any help let me know!!! The bottom trays are hard lol no easy way really lol just pull on one side

  3. Oopppsss commented before the end of the video lol I have used DT potting soil many times and it didn't give me a problem also purple is my favorite color to I bought it all in purple too lol

  4. Hope you and the family are staying safe and healthy beautiful 💕
The Easter stuff 😩😍 yupp…same. Been eating so much during this quarantine time! 😩🙈
We were out of toilet paper and couldn’t find any but it friend helped us out! Let me know if you need anything mama…I can always drop things off to you if you can’t find essential necessities! We have a friend who works in the London Drugs warehouse so he pulls strings for us!

Gonna look for your Facebook! I hope your son is ok!! Stay safe and healthy and sane 💕🙏🏻

  6. Oh I'm so excited you are going to start gardening.your dollar tree has a lot of gardening. I have 3 houseplants and want to buy more. I garden every year. But really want to up my game this year. Love the crafting flowers. I like how the nursery was set up, love you too!!!

  7. I've have house plants and grew tomatoes, radishes, etc. Once I even grew corn in my fridge, I had this smell and didn't know what it was, turns out there was a drainage plug at the bottom under the veggie drawer. Liw and behold

  8. Oops, two leaves were growing out of the plug, I heard if you kept your popcorn kernels in the fridge it popped better. Don't know about that but it starts a cool plant…lol

  9. My husband is great at growing things but that is NOT my gifting 😂😂😂 I’ll enjoy watching you learn though! Great video 💜

  10. Girrlll!!! I’m so happy you’re trying your hand at gardening. I’ve had a garden for years. (If you want potatoes, let the potatoes you’ve bought grow eyes, then cut them into sections and plant them! It works!) I took a horticulture class for 4 yrs (about 15 yrs ago🤪), if you need anything or have questions I’ll help anyway I can! And p.s. I have tried dollar tree soil on my house plants… not worth it. It doesn’t have the nutrients your plants need, and you can get a bigger bag, with better value. (Well, here in VA anyway. I know Canada’s $ is different from ours. ) You got this Girl!! You gonna grow some amazing veggies! Much Love Bestie! ☮️💗

  11. Trying not to touch in dt is like telling a 2yo not to touch fresh baked cookies. 😂 I’m trying to grow lettuce, this year, but past years have proved that I can’t b trusted to keep plants alive. 🤣 Can’t wait to see how u do!! Take care!! ❤️

  12. You go gal! Nothing bets growing your own food. We have 4 gardens going each year. We grow tomatoes, potatoes, snap peas, green beans, asparagus, radishes, lettuce, carrots (still learning on them), cucumbers, pumpkins, okra, corn, zucchini, summer squash, sweet peppers, strawberries, and different herbs (the herbs are my thing and I am still learning about them.) Love picking stuff right out of the garden and eating them.
I have used dollar tree seeds and never had a problem with them. I just picked up 8 packs yesterday. Then I went to a hardware store and bought some herbs.
Love when you say there’s purple. That’s my color too. Just bought some scissors for cutting flowers there had purple handle. I keep several pairs of their garden gloves on hand – I am pretty rough with them with digging into the dirt. 😅
I have some of the pots like the darker blue that I keep house plants in. The other pots you can drill holes in or take a nail and hammer and put a hole in.
    Good luck!

  13. Gardening is such an amazing hobby to take up right now. I need to get on it! Ooo.. I love the gardening knee pads. Great idea. Look for organic seeds elsewhere. <3

  14. Quick tip for anyone who may be on food stamps. Food producing plants and seeds can be purchased with food stamps. Warning the stores may not believe you, but tell them to go look it up in their copy of food stamp use from the USDA. Totally missing gardening where I live now!.

  15. Love this! 💕 I have gardened for years and love it! I have a green thumb for vegetables and flowers! I miss dollar tree – haven’t been going in ! It’s been about a month for me 🙁

  16. I think for the pots without a drain hole, if the plastic isn’t too thick, you could drill a hole or three in the bottom. Your big box hardware store in the garden center should have plastic saucers for cheap if you were putting it on a balcony or want to bottom water.

  17. Darker or muted color planters will make brighter and more vibrant colored plants and flowers pop, whereas brighter colored planters I'd use for darker plants.

  18. You can add holes to the bottoms of the pots by drilling holes or using a hot pen if you have to have one at home!

You can also find seeds 4 for 1$ and it is mostly food and some flowers.

Some soil is usable if you are a good gardener you can add nutrients and other things to make it more useable.

    From a US viewer!

  19. Hey mama DIY, do you know if the gardening bag is meant for mixing dirt/ compost, or is it actually for planting plants inside? Thanks mama!

  20. WoW..your Dollar Tree has so much more gardening things than mine! I want to get back into gardening. I used to help my grandmother garden and I could grow and mean cucumber! 😀

  21. I think those pots with the drainage lip is actually for you to water it from that area so you can extra water it when you aren’t home for a few days. It will self water.

  22. Am a kid but I do like to garden my grandma past away 2 months ago and she told me to take care of them so am now a garden person

  23. Hey hun! I’m a new youtuber 😊 and i just uploaded my new and first FashionNova costume haul 🥰 Can you guys check it out and subscribe for me ‼️ Btw i liked and subscribed yours🎃👻♠️

  24. FWI those cardboard pots attract a lot of folly pollies and crickets, and maybe some other insects.

  25. Came here because my green thumb is questionable. Subscribed because of the sewing mat behind you. 🙂
