    I really wouldn't recommend doing it this way. The roots are way too packed up.

    If you want to do something like this properly, search up for kokedama moss ball. I have one kokedama myself, and it's thriving wonderfully 🙂 Though my first one got too big so I decided to transfer it back to the pot 😛

    The stems will rot, planted that deep into the mud. Pothos can be rooted in water, but they transition to soil more easily if transplanted into soil when they're freshly erupted. (Within an inch or so after roots begin to sprout from the root bumps.)
