Hi Friends, since I got so much positive feedback on my porch makeover, I thought I would share with you my backyard space as well. I did design the space myself and then had a landscaper make it come to life. we are so happy with how it turned out and w love spending our evenings by the fire.

Looks great, though I couldn’t deal with neighbors looking straight into my backyard and home.
I have a Meyer Dwarf Lemon Tree and it produces a ton of lemons twice a year. I think Meyers are the best lemons because they are so sweet. I just built a fence and I went horizontal with the boards and it gives it a more modern look.
Grey instead of brown fence would tie in better as would the pergola in very pale grey.

I like the gazebo. My backyard is very similar and the neighbors behind me can clearly see into my yard lol so I’m thinking a gazebo too or umbrella where my couches are
