Edible Gardening: An Appreciation of Nature

One of the main reasons that I got into gardening is that I was looking for a way to get rid of my day-to-day stress from my work. I found that respite in gardening. Gardening not only helps you get rid of stress, but also makes you really appreciate nature and being in the moment. I have really learned to appreciate gardening and most importantly the nature part of gardening. Everything from the bees to the fertile soil have a way of relaxing the average gardener.

So, give it a try and get in the garden to enjoy one of the finer things in life, fresh food from your own garden!

  1. Today is the first day in 6months it's warm enough so I can go outside and work the soil. Such a great feeling.

New Big Dwarf is my favorite tasting dwarf tomato, it can be very sweet. I also like Coastal Pride Orange for the attractive color. Copper River is semi-dwarf that is green when ripe, but can be very sweet worth trying.

I only got to taste muscadine grapes once and it's an unforgettable taste, might be my favorite fruit.
