In this video I show some perspective above my acreage in Sydney, Australia. I’ve been growing a tropical garden with a range of tropical fruits which I plan to expand across my 4 acres of land.
I also talk about some of my upcoming plans with the property. If you want a detailed (and ground based tour) of my tropical garden I have that below. Its the start of Winter here in Australia so its cold and the plants have slowed down. Hope you enjoy the video!

nice video and nice ideas John!
I really enjoyed this video, so happy for you John
Wow it must be interesting but scary watching all that water run through your property!
Really enjoying your tropical garden! Have not found many videos of Australian gardens and would be really interested in a tour highlighting some of the botanical names if you have them. Your idea for the berry paddock sound great – have you considered using swales to direct the water to the berries? It may help with some of the other water runoff problems on the property. There is a local Permaculture group on the Central Coast who may be able to help you with the design. My son and I used to belong to one in Sydney and we took part in lots of working bees to help members develop their gardens. There’s lots of books on Permaculture too. All the best.
