I hear if you get a lot of leafy growth but not many blooms on plants it means your soil has too much nitrogen

What a nice upgrade : ) May I offer a tip, don't mix your wood bark with the soil or it will damage the soil and not be as beneficial for your plants. Just move the bark mulch off to the side and plant directly into the soil, then move bark back over it. This tip is something minor but so you know the bark will decompose and benefit your soil and plants in many years to come.
My ivy tip fro, years of experience: Pull it out immediately! (t will completely hi-jack your gardem space and run amok!!

Shade loving plants like ferns, coleus, hostas, caladiums, coral bells, begonias and impatiens did extremely well in my porch pots last year.
Very nice refresh. I love the blue door, white trim and black shutters. It really looks nice. You have to have shade plants on the porch. Also those impatiens are sun impatiens. It they don't get enough sun, they will not bloom. Also may have too much nitrogen fertilizer too. Love all you did. Keep gardening. You will learn more each year.
