  1. That’s going to be a big project.. those tree roots did a good job of destroying that driveway..

  2. "My driveway is two inches thick and my stoop is eight because, you know… my wife."
Also, part 1 of 8? Next time you might want to lead with that.

  3. I was doing a retaining wall from railroad ties and there was a tree that was ground down Recently and we had to have the come back twice to grind it. Finally had to just notch out 2 inches off the bottom of the railroad tie because the homeowner didn’t wanna call them out another time

  4. I watch all you videos. I was wondering if you could expound more on the grade and how to figure it. Plus on the concrete thickness and types, why rebar and if it's appropriate in your opinion all the time. Lastly, how much of concrete does a load usually hold. Thanks.

  5. I was subscribed to this channel before I realized you were local to me. Nice to see another run down Buena Park home get renovated. Makes my property value go up.

  6. Very informative as usual. The Vermeer grades nicely, I choose the Toro Dingo TX1000. I should’ve did some more homework.

  7. That little mini skid looking thing is cool. Made short work of that concrete and yard. Do those run small diesels?

  8. I love your videos and get excited when I get he alert for new ones but could you either make them longer and or upload them sooner? I totally enjoy watching them but hate the long anticipated wait for new ones.

  9. looks like another outstanding start to yet another fine series,
    looking forward to this one

i (a certified arborist > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arborist ) recommend the home owner contact, beg and or plead 😉 with the local right of way authority to have that tree removed (and plan for some nice replacements)

  10. David you're teasing and spoiling us with a 7 part series. I just hope there's not a cliffhanger at the end 🙂

  11. Are you guys okay out there? I was in my shop and all of the tools on the wall fell out and fd up some tools. From this 7.1 earthquake

  12. I'm from Canada and it's interesting to see how much less prep work is required in your climate than what we have to deal with up here. It certainly adds to our costs. Great video…thank you.

  13. Can’t wait for you to expand up to Fresno. The day you do just come take my money lol

  14. Enjoy watching your videos, keep up the good work. Hopefully I can become independent as you.

  15. Man i wish i could work with guys/volunteer, Mr. Odell what would be the best way for someone with no experience to learn how to do this?

  16. You guys do a great job!
Question: Can I use old agregate from my garden to mix with sand and cement to make a concrete shed base? Access is a major problem and I have a ton of mixed small stones/gravel from soil I sieved when re-doing the lawn. Cheers guys

  17. Hey ! Another great video! Thank you.

Questions: stamped, painted (stain) concrete walkway is peeling, how would you remove the paint that's not peeling?
And, can I have concrete poured on top of concrete to raise it up (even Flo from driveway to door frame) to make door wheel chair accessible.

  18. How did you build that water jet tool to pass pipe under slab? I need to do a similar job soon in my home. Thanks for your videos.

  19. Everybody loves the tree until they have to pay to take it down and replace the driveway. The only thing worse and more expensive is when it iClogs up the sewer line and it Hass to be replaced

  20. How much would something like this cost me?? Including sprinklers and all. Thanks for the video, my husband and I are obsessed 👌

  21. Great Job! Ive been watching your videos and it's like I work with you guys now. Quick question. Why di you guys spray water when taking the grass out?
