Vegetable Gardening

Disabled access organic vegetable gardening, on a patio, in pots.

Its long been an intention of mine to do a video that might encourage those with disability to have a go at growing vegetables. Access, lifting & digging are all obstacles that can be overcome. Growing in lightweight 10″ pots on a patio or path or any hard stand might be the answer. This is a FREE subscription channel.

  1. Nice video, I have plenty or room in the garden which I can manage ok, but I hope this provides some inspiration to those that are not so able.

  2. I got a few dozen of these buckets from a flower stall in the local shopping center for free, be on the lookout!

  3. Great video. Thanks for thinking of the disables. I really appreciate it. As people knows I'm disable and try to encourage Disable, elderly, and people that doesn't have money, to do gardening. Will share this video with others.

  4. Hi new subscriber here, I love this video, I have started my own organic garden a week ago and I am very excited with the project. Please visit my channel (and subscribe, if you like) Thanks

  5. Instead of digging I use a heavyweight claw/hoe with a normal size short handle to use the weight of the tool to break up the earth. I grow in pots as well.

  6. I went looking for these pots at our local Morrison's, they were giving them away FREE. so never one to pass up a bargain I grabbed a load. They weren't on shelves they were at the front door. Check at your end might be worth a look.

  7. Great video I have Rheumatoid arthritis & have difficulty gardening but container gardening has helped me continue. Love the deal you got on your containers. I grew carrots in one of my pots small carrots called Denver half long which did great. Leaf lettuce also did great & saves  me a lot of money not buying @ store. I love your assistant.

  8. Great for tomato plants. You didn't say where you bought your ten buckets for 99p.
I can't find any at that price.

  9. I do not get out to shop much anymore…so ordered my pots from good ole Amazon! Paid about $1.50 each…so maybe not as good a deal as you!,,☮️💜☀️😇
