I'm curious, what does Potato Mint taste like???
Been thinking about you all day. How close are you to the wildfires around LA?
dear ,Bravo-excellent -take care!
It looking beautiful Robbie 👍🥰
ROBBIE, WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HOT COMPOST AND COLD COMPOST? BEAUTIFUL GARDEN ROBBIE. LOVE YOU 💘
WE HAVE A BLAST EVERY TIME YOU COME ON ROBBIE. LEARNING SO MUCH. SO JOYFUL
Your garden looks great, and I love seeing and hearing the ravens.
You amazed me! Will you also talk about how you renew and reuse the container dirt after harvest?
Why so much turmic
Where do you get walking onions?
Don't forget to bring in ur battery 🔋
Boy! I’ve planted three bags of turmeric and only one small plant grew. $7 for each bag….organic. It’s warm and they’re in shade after the morning sun. I sure hope the one plant makes enough to get more plants next year. I can’t miss your next video on how to store it for winter. It’s pretty precious
I’m getting my walking onion top sets this week and I’ll be planting them in buckets. Will they survive the winter in a bucket or will it be too cold for them? Zone 7. Oklahoma. I know they are fine planted in the ground….but not sure about a bucket
Everything looks so beautiful! I always look for your videos everyday! ♥️
Love from Colorado!
Cool idea to grow in leaf matter.😃 I often use leaves to grow my potatoes in. I totally enjoy your tours, Robbie.😃 Y'all follow Miss Kitty's lead and stay cool.💕
😍🥰AWESOMENESS
Robbie, thanks for the tour and welcome to Arizona!! lol I am so looking forward to temperatures under 100. It cuts my work (keeping plants and chickens alive) in half. Your garden looks happy even with the higher temps.
We had extreme heatwave for weeks with no rain–100 degree days. We don't have water shortages or restrictions, so I turn the sprinkler on for several hours each afternoon for the wildlife. Also have birdbaths and water stations around the yard for birds and insects. We have tons of birds and bugs and squirrels that love the water spray. Amazes me to see wasps flying through it. We also put drinking water out for the deer. Our water bill is huge, but water is life and our birds have needed the help. Hope you guys get through your heatwave in good shape. Love your heart for nature!
I love your garden tours so much! Your gardens are doing great even with that heat! I love hearing you talking about your gardens and nature. So many information and beautiful pictures and colours!!! Oh you make my day beautiful even with all the difficulties we are facing!! I appreciate that even with that horrible heat you think of us and made that colourfully tour! ✨ God bless you and your family Robbie! 🙏💗
I've bought lemongrass, Louisa (lemon verbena), lemonthyme, sage, rosemary, marjoram, tarragon, lavender and I've planted some bee herbs ( I hope I'm saying it right..beegrass) cause bees like it for the flowers. I still can't find Stevia, turmeric, ginger, walking onions…😟
Oh! And after I've put the pitchers with food in my cucumbers and my zucchinis, finally my one zucchini has it's first male flower and many more are ready to open and my second zucchini has all over flowers that they are almost ready to open! That one is travelling 🤔how tall can be a zucchini??
And my cucumbers that I've trimmed off really bad ( they've got powdery mildew), are flowering again and they are so healthy 🤗 All these because of the pitchers and the food I've put! I'm so happy!!! 😇
I only have a problem with my broccoli and cauliflower I've planted. I think that potatoes are coming from the kitchen scrubs I've put in. Is this going to destroy my broccolis and cauliflowers? Should I leave the potatoes or get them out? 😲
Another name for walking onions I believe is Egyptian onions maybe u can find it that wayWith drought I put a big bucket near kitchen sink – dump rinse water after wash a pot or soaking something or after boiling veggies, washing rice, etc – get a big bucket full by end of day to water totes
any scrap plastic you normally throw away I put over plant soil to hold moisture in after watering – did this before 1 week vacation during heat wave & soil was still moist when I came home! Continued to do so & dont have to water so much anymore as water evaporates quickly in hot sunjust lift plastic & water underneath & replace plastic after. Cut up plasticbags from big toilet roll bag, plastic bags that hold potting soil , etc
I did 3 pitcher compost containers 2 weeks ago. Unbelievable how hot it got and quickly it broke down. So incredible. Hot here too in Central California
Oh to be in a location where I didn’t have to deal
with fungus infections, leaf rollers, early blight, squash bugs, etc. Its hard some days not to just give up! But so far I’ve kept trudging along using organic sprays etc hoping for some produce! I’m in north central Texas. First the heat and drought. Now rain and fungus. Sheesh.
How do you use your lemon balm?
I’m in Southern CA too in Monterey Park and it’s been in the 100’s. Some of my plants didn’t make it so I’ve moved some to the shade. I’m also worried about wildlife and plants.
Try to stay hydrated and cool! 🥶🥵
Can't wait to hear your replacement for the milk cartons
How about if you dig a hole and put one of your pitchers next to your fig tree? The fig tree leaves are eaten in other countries.
awesome Robbie!! everything is thriving!! inspiring as always, bravo!🙌🙌🙌🙌❤❤❤😻😻😻
Where did you get your battery/power pack
I planted stevia at least 3 times and none came up? Any tips?
Robbie, you and Gary do not have 236K subscribers. You have 236K friends and grateful fans. We take you with us on our daily chores. I took you to the Thrift store here in Alabama and there was a bag of plastic office sheets in different colors. I thought Robbie would use these for labels and covers. No totes. The next day I found a new t-shirt I found on sale for $1.00 years ago. I can put a front pocket on that. Stay well.♥
You always have a lot of good ideas and keep on getting better. Yes, it is hot !, and …how did it get to be September already ? I like your wildlife visitors though they make gardening more challenging . It seems that you enjoy a good challenge in the garden to keep on learning and getting better. Do you have a chicken coop ?, or want to get chickens in the future ?
Ty Robbie and Gary 🙂 August is the worst for my garden with all the bugs eating the plants. Don’t want to use pesticides but haven’t been diligent on spraying my organic spray. Will try to plant potatoes and radishes fall gardening. 🙂 ty much for your videos <><
I have built-up leaf matter in spots on the driveway. Every time we get a decent rain, more dirt, sand and leaves come. It's the best, right up there with kitchen scraps for the containers ❤️
2 questions…where is this garden, CA ?, LA ?, OC ?…that's important to know in gardening. Also, are you concerned with growing food that you eat in so much plastic? Does the soil take up the toxins and pass to the food? Enjoyed the video, stay cool…also, looking for the dollar store pitcher video..? can you tell I'm new?, thank you Robbie.
Lol ur shoes so cool, We drilled holes in our old rain boots, filled with soil, and dumped some wildflower pollinator seeds packet in them . So cute seeing flowers blooming out of rainboots😁
😍
Sometimes I like to say it with you, "and don't forget to eat what you grow". Ok, I see your future in making a T-Shirt with that slogan. Can't wait to buy it from you. Thanks for hypnotizing us in a good way 🙂
This is absolutely fascinating. What an interesting environment you have created. So glad I stumbled across your channel.
Robbie, you should make one of those water bowls from your squash leaves that I saw on miss Helens show here. I sure wish I was close enough to be your neighbor so I could visit and your bubbly personality could wear off on me!! Love you guys
