I am wondering how you installed, connect the the wicking basket to the bottom of the grow (Walmart) bag?
How often do you have to add fertilizer ? And what type of fertilizer do you add to your veggies
I love your set up! Are you worried about mosquitos? There are a lot where I live in the summer

A picture of what the bag looks like on the bottom would be great! Then we can see how big the hole is and how much of the shirt is outside the bag. Good idea!
Aloha Bob, My gutter system is not working. I set it up exactly as you explained with all of the same supplies. Can you think of anything I might do? Maybe a small thing you didn't mention? The water level never goes down in the rain gutter and I still have to water with a hose because the soil is dry so the water is certainly got wicking up. Thank you in advance…
What did you make the water trough from?

If your growing mediums is too wet, like in that tub, tie a knot in the wick. In this case, tie knots in the part of the shirt in the water. Experiment with how tight the knot needs to be and how many knots.

Thanks for the video. About how long do these Walmart bags hold up in these conditions?
It's a good idea. This is an advertising bag made of PP, which is not very durable for strong solar ultraviolet rays. It would be better to use anti-aging PET material.
Are you cutting holes in the bottom of the bags?
No demonstration of what you did. More like a Show and Tell.
