  1. You did a great job on your video review. It’s rare to find one so well done. I’ve picked two sprinklers to check out. The one you reviewed here and I’m on the hunt for a review of Gardena Aquazoom Oscillating Sprinkler also. I’ll check to see if you reviewed that one as well.

  2. I am trying decide between this unit and their (Melnor) Mini Max model. Can you tell me the pros and cons of each when compared to each other? Basically why would I get this over the Mini Max and vise versa. Thanks.

  3. you can tell easily if it's wider or narrower by watching the stream

  4. Great review! I live an hour from town, Only going there 2 to 3 times a month. I bought this to water my garden, only to get home to find the end piece was not there. Now I have to wait for another trip to town to return it….grrrrrrr. MAKE SURE IF YOU PURCHASE THIS SPRINKLER THE END PIECE IS THERE . Don't assume as I did that all the parts would be there. Very disappointing!

  5. The THIN PLASTIC TABS to narrow the watering width get brittle from being in the sun and break off VERY easily. I have four of these sprinklers, but only one still has its tabs to adjust width. You are left with a regular sprinkler without ability to adjust the width.

  6. Based on your great review I want to purchase a few of the metal base version but its out of stock- only the all plastic version is available

  7. Cool design, but I’ve bought 2 and they both broke after minimal use. The cheap yellow plastic tabs that adjust coverage deteriorate really quick and break off making it useless.

  8. Finally! I bought one last year and was gradually learning how it worked distance wise. The width levers I was just getting to look at them. Then I thought Youtube. Glad I found your video. Now I know how to set the sprinkler up. The sprinkler is really a good choice for lawn watering. A bonus from you was the review site. Found a pruner and bought one. Hope it meets your review. Thanks. Any garden tool I need will be researched on your garden tool review site.

  9. @5:24 – "you'll lose more water" — where does it go? Into the air as water vapor? I thought that what goes up must come down.

  10. Thanks for the demo! You did great! I want your help and have a few questions. Let's say i want to cover a garden area the length is 100ft X 42ft. wide. The rows are 42 ft long. How many of these sprinklers would i need? And is it better to position the sprinkler parallel with the row or perpendicular to the row? Also, any recommendations on adjusting the guages for this particular setup. Thanks so much. Mona

  11. Have replaced 3 of these over last 3 years. It’s all good but I really wish those width adjustments were of metal instead of plastic. They become brittle after a while especially if you keep it in the sun and easily breaks. Technology is great but the whole instrument should be more sturdy. You can attach a garden hose on off shut off valve if you need to control at the sprinkler level.

  12. I hope the sprinkler is as good as this review. I didn't expect such a well done thorough review of this sprinkler. Your excellence pleasantly inspired me to subscribe.

  13. I bought the plastic one and I use two hooks ($5 a box of 20 hooks) used for landscape fabric. Keeps the sprinkler in place 👍🏻

  14. Works great unless a little bit of fine sand gets into the model with the timer mechanism…then that part is toast. The body of the timer is sonically welded, so virtually impossible to clean it out, let alone effect an otherwise simple repair of cleaning out the sand.

  15. This sprinkler really works great with a 3/4" rubber hose.
Don't expect too much if you use it with one of those skinny expandable hoses.
Great explanation on how to use it.
