  1. Hard day emotionally (lately) here as well. Thanks for putting up a video ❤️❤️❤️🎉

  2. Gardening is my favorite thing. I have seedlings going too. We also have a large bin like yours and we've had ours for years as well. We use it for firewood for our fire pit. It keeps it dry. Love that thing. I also plant my tomatoes like you are doing. Bury that stem. Do the same when I put them in the ground. Makes for nice strong plants. 👍

  3. Sidewalk chalk is the best invention since sliced bread in my opinion. Even grown ups love it! Well I do anyway. 😊

  4. I’m not a green fingered person at all but watching you and what you’ve planned is amazing. Well done 👏 Hope your doing well. Stay safe and healthy. Mary, Joes wife 👏👍💐🪴🥦🍓🫑

  5. Thank you for sharing your planning! I am working on getting things thought through yet. I haven't started seeds before, but just got onion seeds in today. We won't plant stuff out til mid-to-late May for most stuff though. I do have some peas I want to try though….. of course we are back below freezing today too. Lol.

  6. Are you still looking for a new home? WOW such a variety of plants, who would have known gardening was therapeutic, I went to the green house and bought all my plants and stuck them in the ground, always hurry, hurry, but I did enjoy getting my hands dirty 🥰. I found my deck box along the side of the street, love it.

  7. Erica, I love your vids when you are being natural and relaxed. Please don’t feel you have to try so hard for the camera, you have a lovely smile particularly when it feels like you are just chatting to friends. Keep up the good work.

  8. I'm jealous, wish I had your green thumb, Erica. Maybe when your veggies have grown you can share some recipes with us.

  9. Excellent video!! I have not started documenting and am realizing how important that could be. I have a small patio and everything is in containers. I learned so much from you! Thanks for sharing!

  10. I'll use gloves to prevent blisters when mowing the lawn, raking ect. But, like you I enjoy feeling the earth too! Gardening is an amazingly theraputic!! Happy gardening!! <3

  11. 2-3 tomatoes in a 5 gallon grow bag? Or is that for the peppers? What varieties of tomatoes are you growing

  12. I wish there was a you with younger children. Mine are 1 and 5 and the peace you have now, i do not have here 😢

  13. I planted seeds for my garden as I watched this. I am in zone 4a so can’t grow the same things, but still enjoy what I can. Garden produce is soooo delicious and satisfying to know you grew your own food.

  14. I love the feel of dirt on my bare hands too! I was the mud pie queen when I was a kid, and I never quite outgrew it.

  15. When I sow multiple seeds I leave some space in between to make separation easier. We have a garden exchange in our library where I can send the extra seedlings or buy nothing group.

  16. I’d love to know the size of the different pots you’re using for different plants. I want to plant some items in containers, but I’m just starting

  17. I LOVE gardening so much, I've been a professional horticulturalist for nearly 30 years. We never stop learning, and your great video showed me how peeps garden in extreme climates. I'm lucky to have a year round growing season (similar to California) here in Western Australia.

  18. I am closely watching your p plans this year and have ordered some grow bags
I live in Yellowknife NWT now and can’t sow in the ground and I miss my garden so I’m going to make a plan and a binder like you have – it’s such a great idea

  19. Garden soil hands are the best! Fun to see your plans. I’m in zone 5a and we’re not frost free until May 20. I’ve never started anything from seed. Just direct sew into the soil. Fun to see your setup!
