Summer Backyard Garden Tour | Roses, Tropical Fruits, Cut Flowers

I’m sharing what my backyard garden looks like in the summer. I’m located in San Francisco Bay Area, Northern California – Agriculture zone 10a or 9b. So I consider it as a warm zone garden.

It’s been 2 years since we started serious gardening. I’m sharing a garden tour of my backyard which is our oasis during this quarantine “new normal” life. Hope you can take away with some ideas and inspirations for your own garden!

Some plants shared: David Austin roses, new dawn, eden rose, white eden, earth angel annaebelle, mock orange, tropical plants, cherimoya, avocado tree, kurapia grass cover, etc.

  1. Beautiful garden! Loved seeing it from its early stages. You have done an AMAZING job transforming it. Hope you do a follow up video with your tropical fruit. 🙂 And well done on the video editing, too! You have thoroughly inspired me.

  2. Where do you live California? Avocados usually grow in a sunny area. And chirimollas too. Lucky to have all those fruits and veggies growing from ur garden 😌

  3. So beautiful and creative! Could you please let me know thr name of thr water wise grass replacement you used. I could not catch the name in your video. Thank you for sharing!

  4. Hello, thank you for sharing your beautiful garden and for showing your work in transforming it, and your great ideas. I just discovered your channel and happily subscribed. We moved to a new state this year so we could be part of our new granddaughter’s life. We left behind a garden of beautiful roses and plants that we lovingly planted … we transformed a very plain area into a beautiful garden.

I am now in the process of starting a new garden. A lot of work! So, seeing your garden is a wonderful inspiration. I like the cage that you built to prevent the small animals from eating your plants. I am also investigating metal arches for my new climbing roses. Do you mind sharing where you purchased your metal arch from? The company name … thank you.
