Japanese Garden

Japanese garden with ink and color pencils

A little bit more laid-back video in which I not only draw a Japanese garden scene with color inks and color pencils but also test a few different color inks and go to buy a new fountain pen.

Tools:
– Pilot Custom Heritage 92
– Pilot Iroshizuku inks
– Blackwing 205
– Canson 1557 paper
– Caran d Ache supracolor II color pencils

  1. You mentioned an artist you like; I believe you said Mateus Adelson? I looked him up but can’t locate him or his work. Is this his correct name? I’d like to see what he does. Thanks for your awesome, amazing videos. I love watching!

  2. Verry nice drawing, i like the pencils texture on paper
May be it's interessting to do some water color (just a big shapes) before the inking ?
    Thanks for sharing with us😉

  3. Pilot custom Heritage 92 Demonstrator . mmhh 🤔 good choice !
What about making a drawing with waterproof black ink and then using Pilot Iroshizuku for the coloring ? But maybe it's kind of the same as using watercolors, I don't how fountain pen inks are suited for coloring…

  4. Wait, who's your favorite artist? If your drawing is really this good, how good is the drawing of your favorite artist. Hahaha

  5. The final result is stunning! I loved that you combined ink combined with the colored pencils! It was also very interesting to see your process. This technique could be a really interesting "exercise" for me to step out of my comfort zone so maybe I'll give it a go and do some sketches combining ink and colored pencils! 😀

  6. I love demonstrator fountain pens! It's so beautiful to have the ink visible like so. Nice choice!

  8. I really love how you draw so clean and freely 😩❤️ everything is visible yet so simple, please give me any tips in drawing better sceneries 😭😭😭

  9. I love it! I bought a Lamy Safary because of you and I'm really enjoying it. I also wanted to ask if your new storefront series's illustrations will be uploaded to Society6 too. I wanted to buy a print but Inprint's shipping is too expensive for me. Thanks!

  10. Love to hear you explaining why you get certain tools or make certain choices. The artwork looks really pretty as well 🙂

  11. I really like the new method! I would never imagined you could use the inks like that! Ty for sharing and great work as always!

  13. hey sir please can you tell is it good to be a background artist in anime industry of japan and is it easy to get a job in anime studios.

  14. The things that I learned from you is, straight line is not the most important things, The most important things is how you make your art have a feeling to tell.

  15. You're awesome, keep growing and keep drawing.

Your content is satisfying, the colors that you use are so beautiful, the music is relaxing and your English is actually good, congrats!.
