Thank you for the information 🌻
This was AWESOME!!!! Thank you SO much, you helped me know exactly where to put my pots…was going to be cement, not anymore!!!
I like watching your videos, you seem like such a nice person,I'm a lady gardener her outside if Houston, Texas and really like your style.
WOW I learn so much from watching your videos. I am inspired and motivated to grow my own plants, fruits and veggies and though your in Cali I am in Florida and I can relate and believe that other than for the humidity here were the same and can achieve the same results. Thanks so much Robbie!
Cool
What about growing in the felt pockets on the wall that I see people do now?????
Good points about watering in a pot vs watering around plants on the ground.
yes they grow. I like to plant in the ground and let all the plants communicate with each other and it looks much more pleasing to me ( and other reasons) This method is good for some people.
Love 💘 your lazy gardening!
Thank you Robbie for introducing your way of making dirt and using totes and pots and buckets. I have started gardening this way too. I am 84 years old and I have back problems and your way of gardening has been very helpful for me . Also I have my adult children gardening too. Thanks so much for sharing your way of gardening and making dirt. I appreciate it very much. God bless you and Gary for your videos to help your YouTube friends
Best gardening g channel I’ve come across
Easy and smaller is better. Even if you only get one or two tomatoes, it is so gratifying to eat what you have produced.
My family always used terra-cotta pots with a wooden cookie to cover the hole. 1 the cookie gives the pant food as it rots away 2 it keeps moisture on the bottom of the pot. It also makes sure the drain hole from getting clogged up with dirt. Dug a hole to put the whole pot in the ground. Just leave the rim of the pot showing.
I love your information in your videos. But i have a question…..why can’t i just plant a tomato and collard and onions in one tote instead of pots in the pots?
But I have cement
I JUST LOVE 💕 YOUR BEAUTIFUL TIER PLANTER, WOW JUST PERFECT FOR UPPER BACK DECK, WHERE CAN I FIND ONE, I LEARN SO MUCH FROM YOU, THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH!!!!!
Where do you find pots that are easy to cut?
Robbie, you teach us so much! I had no idea… “Feeder roots”? I did not know how that worked until now. I will no longer feel sorry when I see a large thriving plant that has broken through its pot and continues to grow. I’ll realize it is not in pain, its feeder roots are doing fine!
Thank you Robbie! Question please: what motivates earth worms to go up into a plant pot from the more nutritional tote’s soil to bring the nutrients up to that plant? ..That plant pot doesn’t receive food; I am putting my scraps etc. into the larger bin that it’s placed into. ? I hope you or someone can explain please 🙏
❤️❤️❤️
Hi ! I am from Brooklyn, New York. I reside in a brownstone , and I have a backyard.I am using seeds , laundry baskets and plant pots from the Dollar Store .l was about to plant on the concrete in my yard.I am a beginner grower.I have negative results with planting.I am trying to make it.I can't start until the end of April or beginning of May. In NewYork, you can still have snow. Please advise me.
ROBBIE!!! 🌺You make everything so interesting and easy. I show many people your channel! One lady said in her HOA they don’t allow this, it’s concerned an eyesore!
My question is how in the world do you keep the wildlife from eating everything? If I was a deer, or just a little squirrel 🐿, I would tell all my buddies to go to your and Gary’s for a Smorgasburg!
