  1. Most all C3 photorespiration does not occur mid day due to stoma being closed to prevent dedication due to evaporation. That said, water droplets on the leaf surface of these plants during mid day sun can have a damaging effect on pubescent leaves. Heated water + closed stoma = bad news for guard and parenchymal cells, as well as cuticle and pubescent growth. The "myth" is actually backed up by sound science. Don't water in the mid day sun. Period.

  2. what when i water too late and get if i water all over the plant. they turn brown, get spots and scorched. when it rains it usually is cloudy and if the sun is shining when raining. then it usually is kind of cold and the sun isnt hitting the plants with it full rays. never had a problem with rocks, also when i sift dirt and dont have many pea gravel it it. it doesnt drain and the water sits and turns the dirt into mud. but when i sift and make sure to get all the small rocks through the sifter it is way better soil. but thats not what you said and you said at the bottom. but i still never have a problem and see the water go through the holes at the bottom as usual. dont get why drip irrigation would help drainage either. i just mix normal dirt with compost and used dirt from my buddy he tosses every crop. he is an indoor gardener, he uses a peat and pearl light mix. that help much with water retention and drainage as well as to help bring the ph to a more acidic soil. it is nice since a lot of plants like more acidic soil and it stays in the soil. so if you have potted plants as well. then you dont have to keep adding sulfur or what ever to keep it at a lower ph.l

  3. I love your bare root fruit trees, excellent price and healthy rootstock. I been buying your products for years. the only complain I have is, your processing time should be quicker. it took 3 weeks to a month to ship out my orders. There are time i wrote email for status and weeks later no response so i had to call for it. other than that I love your products.
