Hello! I love such fatigue and at the same time the feeling of satisfaction from the work done. Amazing irises and lavender. Good luck to you๐๐ป๐

Hi Janie, Iโm not a fan of gladiolus or iris foliage. I also have a hard time pulling plants without rehoming. Your garden is looking fabulous ๐ผ๐
Good morning Janie… the place you want to do the wall… I think you need something attractive… tall maybe… I am expecting for the tour in May!!!
Good morning Janie. Happy Thursday. What can I say? These videos keep getting better and better. TYFS. ๐๐
Looks like itโs starting to mature nicely!!!๐ฟ
Iโve learned that if you donโt like something take it out and plant something you do like.
Good morning Janey I really enjoyed the voice over format of this video.
Janie – thank you for another day of inspiration. Your gardens are really looking beautiful. Iโm a vegetable gardener by choice because my flower game is WEAK! But when I watch your videos I feel inspired and motivated to do better. So thank you!!!
After 5 – 6 days of misty rain, sprinkles and downpours, I can finally get to a project digging out space for a little step down in the yard. Your enthusiasm is contagious, 10am and I can't wait to get the shovel in my hands.
It IS hard to remove plants from the garden. We work so hard to create beauty, and spend so much, that it hurts when they have to be removed. In the long run, it's a good decision, but it certainly makes me anxious when I have to eliminate a plant. I am lucky that I have a spot behind my garden shed where I can put plants that I've removed. There are many that thrive better behind the shed than when they were in my main garden!! It beautifies that area and helps to prevent the erosion that was occurring. Once in a while, I've even cut a few things from that area to fill in an arrangement!
Thanks for the tip on lavender, mine are woody. Good idea to just plant a new one! The garden is looking great!!
I was going to get some fall work done today, but itโs only 5* C ( about 38 F ) ๐ฅถand windy! Nope…watched my favourite southern gardeners instead! ๐๐จ๐ฆ
I bet the superbenia will love the move. Mine loves the sun! Also, have you considered putting a ground cover around your stepping stones….like a creeping thyme or a sedum ground cover?๐M
Why not rehome the glads to your cut flower garden?
Looking good! I have been doing the same thing in my yard. It continues to evolve as our vision does. ๐ฅฐ
I think you made a good choice with your new selection of plants. Its nice to have a goal when you are planning your garden for the next season. Im already thinking that far ahead but will have to get through the snow season first.๐
Muy buen trabajo
Question about the climbing roses: in our zone 9b, do you find you have to do any major pruning in late winter? I grow hybrid teas and I know they flush out better when I do a severe prune, but not sure about climbers. Thanks!!
Have you removed your annual boarder?
Thanks for the reminder that is OK to remove plants that we aren't in love with, Janie! I love your channel and the excitement and enthusiasm that you inspire in every video!
Hi, well done Janey ๐บ beautiful work l love watching your work in your garden. The garden will be amazing and charming.Have afantastic day๐บ๐ฆ
Iโm with you on the Gladiolus
Hi Janey! I love the voice-over video today. You've given me permission to take my agapanthus out. It's beautiful when blooming but then…. It's too big and more for a commercial look. It was my first try at planting in my garden in 2019.
Iโm learning to stop just โmaking doโ if I really donโt like something. Still working on it ๐
On another note, did you leave your job in the medical field?
Janey, I feel the same about gladiolas, and for that reason, I'm thankful that they are NOT perennial in zone 5a! ๐ I planted a package of them again this year (I hadn't planted them for over 10 years), and now I remember why I never dug them up in the fall. We are supposed to get a hard freeze of 27-28โฐ F overnight… ready or not, it's that time of year in my neck of the woods! Have a great weekend! ~Margie ๐ค๐๐๐ฆ
Lovely job Janey ๐
