My wife and I are keen gardeners in Suffolk, UK. We bought our current home in 2015, and inherited a large, but not-well-cared-for garden. We planned the garden and have been gradually realising our plans – with adjustments as we go along. We have had some help from excellent tradesmen with the hard landscaping; but most of the developments have been carried out by my wife and me. My wife focuses on the planting, whilst I concentrate my efforts on the lawns, edges and composting. We share the weeding along with a gardener who comes in for 3 hours once every 2 weeks.
