So exciting. Please keep posting. I'm local to you and I struggle with knowing which plants will deal with our high heat and humidity in containers and raised beds.
How do you store potatoes & onions in this humidity and temperature of the southeast?
Danny, you’re a Godsend!
Just found your channel it is very informative 👍 I live in zone 6 Due to the current events my garden has gone from 200 square feet to 1000
Thank you for the video.
Something a lot of Americans don’t know about or wont do is Dandelions, you can take pull the whole thing, remove the flower and boil it as greens
Pumpkins and large squash are amazing. Need little oversight and stay good for at least six months
When the world comes to an end your neighbor will love to come over and eat your harvest 😉
Where would I look for those onion seeds? I did a quick search online but came up empty.
Great video! We can eat the Sweet potato leaves.
for hot weather outside or indoors like at a south facing sliding door. grow with a tall tomato cage to climb on. Its Malabar spinach. a couple plants going for 2 years several servings every week for me.
Is there anyone here in the Spring of 2022, thinking this message is more relevant today than the day it was published?
Thank you for all the info. I'd like to say I never hear preppers talk about Atmospheric water Generators or if you can filter and drink water from a dehumidifier. I like to cover all bases. Thank you.
Man i really like your style..thks DSHS
Thank you for the info
Peanuts ! Why does everyone not think to grow peanuts, especially for survival crop. It's easy grow, easy store, high in protein and fats. It can be eaten as is, made into a flour, made into a paste, into an oil, fuel, glue. There a reason Booker T Washington thought of it as a super food and came up 300 uses for it.
My favorite channel. I’m trying to get things going in mid NC
Have to do pots for now, still renting .
Godspeed!🙏👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hi, I'm in central Fl, what is the best time to plant Seminole pumpkins
Great video my brother. Subscribed.
So what kind of onions were those, can you eat the greens off ANY onion??
Sugar beets from the MN/ND area is a huge source of the table sugar in the U.S.
Seminole pumpkin
Learn LANDRACE SEED PRACTICES
giant kohlrabi
It was a PLANDEMIC 😡 and now "they" are planning a food shortage.
They poison our food, air and water. It's time we all start growing our own food.
Excellent video. Thank you.
How do you keep those bugs from eating the pumpkin tubes
Thank you for this informative video. However have to say sugar is not healthy. I grow stevia, does not rot teeth and is safe for diabetics.
Potato’s, rice, beans, onions, carrots, squash.
Thank you very much for posting this great video! This is such a great informative video amongst all the crap crap crap…
Take care and God Bless!!!
Terrific presentation! Loved it!.
They taste awful! About 20 % of the population can not stand the taste of sweet potatoes or kale.
In my opinion best survival crops to grow are:
Perennials grow once and eat them for a long time
Sweet potatoes – you can eat the tubers, they are a perennnial, leaves can be stir fried with garlic taste better than spinach
Tree collards, the perennial 10 year kind – grows all year here in ca doesn’t go dormant in winter. can juice stir fry a little tree with lots of kale like leafs you can make chips and juice it.
Pigeon peas- I didn’t know how delicious this one is a perennial growing pea tree grows hundreds of peas that taste so sweet and yummy
Morninga- if u have snow grow in pot so u can bring in doors it is one of the most nutritious plant leaves out there I take this like my multivitamin, seeds can been eaten also can be used to purify water, I watched a documentary on Africa where the hospitals had no medicine but gave these to very I’ll kids and they recovered because it had so much nutrition another reason they call this the miracle tree – you can search the term
Experimenting the Madagascar bean also known as the calico bean can grow seven years , chestnut like tasting beans, also know as the calico bean u just throw one of the seed pods in the ground and it will grow another plant for 7 years, still learning about this one
Gynura – purple one taste better and sweet it survives all year in ca through winter. I use it for stir fry and also between my sandwiches a perennial bush easy to grow not much pest problems
Good luck on your survival garden!!
Thanks y’all for a great video. God bless.
The Dooley's Of Michigan Have BLESSED Day
I found a product called grow grid or a weed mat type material that lets water threw but kills weeds with shade and I'll buy some because I hate weeds
One of my favorite and most useful videos! I have never grown sweet potatoes in my zone 5. We do have many fields of sugar beets and they harvest until November.
I knew I wanted to grow stuff but I'm living in a very shady property. Not alot of sun. Plus , I spent all my extra SS monthly money on 3 earth pots, 8 big bags of potting soil, cow manure, organic fertilizer and vermiculite. Then the next month the extra money car repairs. Now I like to grow a couple bags of taters but , too late😧
Danny, where do I get sugar cane to plant? Is it plants or seeds?
I haven't consumed any sugar or sweeteners for years, maybe the occasional cake when people insist in a birthday or something. Other than that I take notes on those recommendations.
What county are you in??
Garlic kills cancer it keeps your immunity it is also good in your Garden or anywhere to get rid of bugs and pesky animals garlic is one of my favorite all 2
My husband calls them stick onion, we call them table onions. I read a book about the depression, many families lived on potatoes through the winter. It's all they had. Kept them alive.
Where do you get multiplyingnonion and wlephant garlic seed?
Glad to have found your channel. You are only a holler to the south of my neck of the woods, so your gardening techniques are inline with what I need to do.
Thank you Sir for all this great info but how do we find out what zone we fall in that you was talking about with the sugar?
LOL "Sugar cane is one of the best sugar substitutes you can get".
PLEASE WATCH : WATCH THE WATER ON RUMBLE , YOU WILL KNOW TRUTH OF COVID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would recommend just get started doing it. I grew a lot in just a 10×10 space. The secret is spacing and interweaving crops. Use a lot of compost and you can get it for free if you look for it.The walk of 1000 miles begins with one step.Just name it and you can grow it and in abundance,
Are those wild onions are those bulbs that you planted
The information you give in these videos very are great 👍 😃
When time do you start them
