THE ONLY JAPANESE GARDEN IN SCOTLAND (Dollar | Cowden Castle | Stirlingshire)

In this vide we visit the only Japanese Garden in Scotland which is located at Cowden Castle, near to Dollar in the Stirlingshire area.

This Japanese Garden was the brainchild of Scottish Adventurer – Ella Christie. In early 20th Century she had traveled through Japan and was so inspired that on her return to Scotland she chose a female designer – Taki Handa – to create this garden within Cowden Castle ground near Dollar.

The ONLY garden of this size to be designed by a women and is a mix of Japanese and Scottish Culture. A MUST SEE.
