  1. Thanks for highlighting some of the uses of the lavender plant. The colour lavender is associated with royalty. keep up the good work and I look forward to your next video.👍🍧

  2. Thanks for all the great info…..How/when should Russian Sage be pruned in Arlington Heights IL? Also will the plant spread?

  3. Great! I just got my order of seeds, and in it I have Lavender Hidcote Blue….can't wait to plant and enjoy! Thanks for the primer, Allen.

  4. Love, love, LOVE! I was intimidated by lavender but got so much joy from the Russian sage this year, I decided to try a half dozen varieties of lavender, et VOILA!! It’s growing! Better yet, it’s BLOOMING!! 🤓👊👊. Thanks for all your timely and inspiring videos. ☺️☺️

  5. I love this segment!! Love lavender and all the inspiration you’ve given for so many uses!! The smell is intoxicating! I love putting a little in lemonade. And you’ve shared so many wonderful recipes as well. 💜💜💜💜💜 love lavender!!! And I love the bubble gum petunias. They are often in my summer pallets!!!

  6. Oh I love all purple flowers. Incidentally, I recently collected a few black-n-blue salvia seeds from a park, just before they pruned them down. Will the salvia propagate from seeds? How should I do it to ensure success? I love these older shows too.

  7. Ooooh that lavender ice cream! Wow that look delicious. I live in the cold mountains of Maine with a short growing season so I make sure to just worry about the plants I love and lavender is one of them. Cat mint is another favorite of mine with it's beautiful mint smell and it's ability to flower over and over. I have milkweed for the butterflies, I try to help them as much as possible. I will be looking for more plants in the spring so I will be watching you. Thank you for all the great ideas………….
