A common problem for many containers gardeners, including myself, is blossom end rot. This is commonly seen with tomato and pepper plants and shows up with black spots, that are soft, on the bottom of the fruit. Blossom end rot seems to be the number one issue I have with container tomato plants. In this video I will explain some causes and solutions to fix this problem.

I have seen it in some varities and not others grown in pots. I have never seen in Husky, or Black Cherry or Black-Sea-Man. I have seen in Yellow Pear, and Stupice. Perhaps we need to start a list for growing in containers.
Epsom salt helps plants with this problem. Also i noticed your 5 gallon buckets were not up on something where the bottom of your bucket could drain properly. Good luck.
My plants are in the same container
