Japanese Garden

Vlog | The Japanese gardens, Irish national stud and Kildare Village

This weekend I visited The Japanese garden’s at the Irish national Stud in Kildare, I also explored St Fiachra’s gardens too. I then popped into Kilare village to show you the pretty displays they have at the moment. If you are looking for something to do on your day off then this was only 40 mins drive from Dublin. Perfect relaxing day trip.

  1. OMG, there's an old bike behind my shed..I'm going to paint it and plant it up, I'm turning into a garden crazy woman, lol, love your videos ❤💕🌱🌸 xx

  2. The view ar one point looked just as you imagine an Irish view to be rolling hills, horses. Lovely. I need this place on my bucket list. Stunning. Kildare looked amazi g with all those bikes, very clever.

  3. When I was in Ireland in April I loved Kildare. I visited Brigid's Well. What a moving experience that charming tiny garden was. Not like the ones in this video. Nothing grand or opulent. Just a humble garden with a burbling stream and a thousand socks tied to the trees and shrubs. And now I have a sock hanging there as well! Thank you again for taking me on this lovely garden tour. Slainte.

  4. Your garden is so cute I love it. Wow the Japanese garden is just beautiful! Thank you for taking us all along. Loved it.

  5. What a shame Cath Kidston was not open. All the gardens were lovely and relaxing. When you were on the stones in the water, with your pretty shoes and walking and filming at the same time I thought 'uh oh"….fearing you might miss your footing. You are fearless. Your garden is coming along nicely; I love a cottage garden. Manicured gardens are gorgeous but a cottage garden is so cozy and charming.

  6. Loved this vlog! The photography was brilliant. Your suggestions for filming above and then below to capture a different perspective of the plants you were photographing was an excellent idea. It certainly brought out the beauty of each plant. Very nice.

  7. Botanic Gardens have a Sculpture in Context exhibition every year. Its amazing, think it runs from Sept 2 Oct. Tips for the hostas , I 've planted mine in pots & put copper tape around the rim so slugs don't cross. Also a circle of stone around plant base. Slugs don't like the rough stones on their belly. Crushed egg shells also work. If u boil garlic in water let it cool and spray onto hostas slug don't like the taste!

  8. For the hosta loving slugs try finely crushed eggshells. This apparently discourages them from crawling across them because it hurts them. Lovely garden.

  9. Thank you soooo much for taking us for a trip to those beautiful places, esp Kildare, such a pretty place.💝 Really loved it.

  23. Hi, please come to visit Mackinac Island, Michigan. No cars allowed. Lots of flower gardens, beautiful homes, and the island is on Lake Michigan.

  24. Oh what a magical and beautiful garden. It reminds me of Louis Ginter gardens in Richmond, Virginia. There is a section in the gardens that is Japanese inspired. There is a tea house in the garden where you can have a very formal lunch. I use to spend a lot of time in that garden when we live in Richmond. We built our house in 1991 and moved to Prince George. I miss going to the gardens. Thank you for sharing this magical place. Ann from Va. USA 🇺🇸
