  2. Thank you!! Mine went to 38inches..i made pickles n fed my chickens for months!! Stir fry n salad crazy that most don't eat the big ones

  3. I can a relish, using over grown cucumbers. It’s chunky and delicious . Onions, celery & cucumbers

  4. I want to grow some of those Armenian cucumbers after this very thorough presentation on all the ways they can be consumed.

  5. Tender and soft cucumbers = no good / not delicious. Crunchy and hard cucumbers = very good and delicious

  6. Armenian cucumbers are great. If you live somewhere hot and dry, just dont bother with the other ones. They'll get fried while this one will happily be pumping out fruit until November. Although I did have luck with one lemon cucumber plant this year to my surprise.

  7. My grandmother grew these in west Texas for decades before she passed. She called them quay. We ate them at every meal with vinegar and salt but the best way she ever made them was a hot spicy pickle. Because they are more fleshy and less seedy, they stand up to pickling and don't get mushy like cucumbers can. Btw, her sweet pickles were always water melon rinds. And her bread and butters and were regular cukes. We live in harsh New Mexican eastern plains. I didn't realize they could grow in our area so def on the planting list for spring. Thank for highlighting these super cool cucumber. Had no idea what the official name was. This helps a lot finding seeds. Hers grew long and big, no stripes. Pale green.
