  1. The geranium winding it’s way through the little lime looks great! People don’t like to plant things close together, but I like seeing different blooms intermix. Are you looking to add anything this fall? My garage is full of discount plants, but I’m waiting for some cooler weather.

  2. I’ve got two crepe myrtles – a Natchez and a pink Muskogee. Mine have been blooming here in Texas since June. Mine r babies tho – about 5 ft tall and this is their first year in my garden. I was really surprised they even bloomed this year, but they did! I think the heat has something to do with them blooming bc TX has been HOT and dry. I love ur hydrangeas – they’re absolutely beautiful!! Wish I could grow them here, but I think our sun is way too hot for even the panicles.

  3. Beautiful plants. I got Little Limes this Spring and they have suffered from the very high heat this Summer. Hoping they make it to Fall. A

  5. Great tour – does the Mugo Pine take full hot sun in the afternoon? I'm looking to expand evergreens now in my yard, but I have wet areas and full on hot afternoon sun areas.

  6. Beautiful August garden, Laura! Thanks for sharing your artistry!!!. I too have crepes snowing down on everything in white, pink, and watermelon colors!

  9. I love your garden . It’s so beautiful . I planted my first crepe myrtle this year ( actually I just planted it last month ), can’t wait to see how it will grow by next year . My Rozanne geranium that I planted last year, bloomed for the first time this Spring ( just a few blooms )but I haven’t seen any blooms since but yours is covered in blooms . Does yours bloom only in Spring too ?

  10. The Geranium is what that Little Lime needed. How beautiful 😍. I have sent you pics of the Dappled Willows. They have almost doubled in size. Thanks again for all your help. Rachel.

  11. Love your Muskogee Crape Myrtle tree. I live in zone 6a … do you think it would survive here? Or do you know of anyone who has tried ? Appreciate your help!
